Born in the mountains, raised by the peaks
Hill Climber is a mountain experiences company founded by two locals from Uttarkashi — the heart of the Himalayas. We're not guides who learned the routes from a textbook. We grew up on these trails, and we built this company to share what that actually feels like.
Our story
Hill Climber began with a simple frustration: most visitors to Uttarakhand experience the Himalayas from a distance — scenic viewpoints, crowded trailheads, and itineraries built for convenience rather than connection.We started this company to change that. As children of Uttarkashi, we know the hidden valleys, the families in remote homestays, the passes that take your breath away for the right reasons. We completed professional mountaineering courses — high-altitude trekking, technical safety, wilderness medicine — and turned a lifetime of living here into a professional promise.

Leave no trace
Every piece of waste that goes up the mountain comes back down with us. Plastic-free trails aren't a policy — they're a personal standard.

We hire local guides and porters, route through traditional homestays, and source food from the communities you pass through. Tourism should reach the people who call these mountains home.

Devbhoomi — land of the gods — carries a fragile ecosystem and a living culture. We educate every traveler on how to move through this landscape respectfully.

Our founders hold professional mountaineering certifications. We know the terrain, the weather patterns, and the technical demands of high-altitude routes — not from training manuals alone, but from a lifetime of climbing them.
